When shopping with EWI, you NEVER have to worry about supporting sweatshop labor. We buy in person from the tribal communities that make our goods. As often as possible, we actually purchase directly from the artisan that hand crafted the individual item; making sure that the proceeds go to where it is needed the most. In addition, a percentage of all profits go to projects to benefit the indigenous communities that we buy from, including our current endeavor to purchase school books for the children of the high mountain village San Mateo De Rio Hondo in Oaxaca, Mexico.
